POSITION SUMMARY:

iHopeTM Genetic Health (iGH) will enable clinical laboratories and care centers throughout the world to test patients impacted by rare disease and other genetic health conditions. Genetic disease affects over 300 million individuals worldwide, the vast majority of whom are children. In high income countries these patients often remain undiagnosed for up to seven years, while in low- and middle-income geographies, many families never know the cause of their child's suffering. Further enabling access will help reduce the psychological stress and loss of income that many families endure. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will report to the VP of iGH and assist with maintaining project plans and timelines for the various workstreams within the Program. We are excited to find top-notch individuals to enhance the team. 

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing the project plans for the iGH Program across multiple workstreams. This position requires a high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.

MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE: 

●       Maintain comprehensive project plans across multiple efforts

●       Communicate regularly about dependencies and provide risk/mitigation

●       Distribute agendas and provide meeting summaries and follow up with key leads

●       Maintain key Program templates and versioning

●       Work with cross-functional teams to integrate efforts across the Genetic Alliance organization

●       Occasional travel to laboratory and/or clinic sites for meetings, monitoring and to provide assistance with events both in the US and internationally.

REQUIREMENTS:

●       A passion for helping patients

●       8 years experience as a project manager 

●       Phenomenal communication skills

●       Good ability to multitask

●       Experience with moving projects to completion in matrixed environments 

●       Demonstrated success in working across teams of program and alliance managers, data scientists, and technical leads

●       Experience in working in fast-paced, innovative environments

●       Ability to travel to various sites 

●       Experience with project management tools and software

DESIRED:

Knowledge of genomic terms and/or technical environment is a plus

EDUCATION: 

Master’s degree in Public Health or Health Sciences preferred; Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
