Content Strategist Copywriter - Work From Home 🔥
The Content Strategist/Writer will work closely with the Editorial Director on copy and content planning across Scholastic Book Fairs marketing. This role will ideate and produce engaging, distinctive, brand driven marketing content that comes through consistently in all Scholastic Book Fairs marketing assets.
The Content Strategist/Writer is responsible for overseeing copy and content development on consumer facing channels, inclusive of website, emails, printed collateral, social and potential new areas of interest (e.g., #FairTalks, Pinterest).
The Content Strategist/Writer will collaborate a team of marketing program managers and digital managers who are responsible for all day-to-day marketing needs of Scholastic Book Fairs.
The Content Strategist/Writer will additionally collaborate closely with the Creative, Project Management and Marketing Operations teams.

Job Responsibilities
- Work independently and in collaboration with partners to define the strategy for multimedia content across multiple customer touch points
- Lead and manage production of compelling, effective, and easy to use content with internal and external production teams
- Manage the design, production and review stages of video and graphic production projects
- Collaborate and build strong working relationships with partners to evaluate the current customer experience and recommend improvements
- Work with Content Strategists and Business Analysts to identify new multimedia opportunities
- Use business metrics and statistical tools to support strategy decisions and measure success
- Pitch new ideas and Think Big
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent command of written language and a strong appreciation for visual presentation and platform context
- Continued curiosity of digital marketing best practices.
- Ability to interpret analytics and apply research to make informed recommendations.
- Proven self-starter with a great attitude
- Possess ability to balance multiple campaigns at one time and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Anticipate and react seamlessly to strategy and initiative pivots.
- Previous management experience
- Experience working within and collaborating with cross-functional teams at all levels, as well as third party agencies and partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft-based software: Slack, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint + GSuite
- Fluency with PowerPoint/Keynote and the ability to build and present decks that effectively sell creative ideas
- Comfort with starting something new from the ground up and working fluidly across a matrixed organization in the building phase.
- Emerging platform strategy and/or marketing experience a plus
