Reporting to: Senior Director of Marketing & Operations

Supervises: 2 Marketing Liaisons

Position summary

Candid’s Networks division, consisting of about 40 staff, provides front-line services and support to people, nonprofits, and grantmakers in the form of trainings, partnership programs, and data portals on giving trends. Learn a bit more about what we do [1].

Working on a team of five within the Networks division, the Digital Outreach Manager serves as campaign lead and project manager for audience engagement and digital marketing of Candid’s training offerings. This role provides direct supervision of two full-time Marketing Liaisons, who support marketing efforts across Candid’s U.S. regions.

Responsibilities

●       Campaign lead for self-paced elearning courses (SPEL), work that regularly involves:

○       Creating “promo packs” (toolkits that include social media and email copy, graphics, links, presenter bios, and etc.)

○       Designing graphics and collateral (social images, digital ads, flyers, etc.)

○       Scheduling organic and paid ads on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google

○       Performing testing to improve click-through/open rates, and report on these as needed

○       Sending monthly email newsletters, and

○       Liaising with colleagues and direct reports to check in on attendance, plan ahead for upcoming programs, advise on titles and descriptions, and brainstorm additional marketing tactics

○       Sharing promo packs with other social media and newsletter owners to amplify reach

●       Manager of two full-time Marketing Liaisons

●       Project manager of the editorial calendar for trainings (including for SPEL, webinars, Candid courses, and regional programs), coordinating with the Marketing Liaisons and various Networks staff on advanced program campaign planning

●       Primary keeper of graphic templates in Canva, updating as needed

●       Admin of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for Networks, reviewing email drafts and canceling/rescheduling emails, as needed

●       Support for liaisons in the management of the Candid Learning blog, as needed

●       Point person to digital marketing colleagues outside the Networks division, as needed

●       Support for division and Candid-wide activities and special projects, as needed

Requirements

Qualities

●       Comfortable adopting a strong, consistent voice for content marketing.

●       Creative and detail-oriented in designing and editing graphics.

●       Demonstrated ability to organize competing priorities and follow through quickly on deadline.

●       Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team, across time zones.

Skills

●       At least two years of management experience.

●       At least three years of digital marketing experience, preferably in the B2C/sales realm.

●       Familiarity with Hootsuite (or similar), Canva (or similar), Salesforce (or similar), and Asana (or similar).

●       Knowledge of the nonprofit sector a plus.

●       Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or similar).

●       College degree preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
