Content and Social Media Developer In Social Science / Spirituality Field 🔥


Summary

This role will help drive creative vision through verbal social and editorial storytelling working collaboratively with the marketing team. The Content Developer will research and write new website content, newsletters, promotional material, event descriptions, video descriptions, short articles, and run a social media calendar.

  • Write and program content on our websites
  • Work closely with the graphics designer, webmaster and video editor
  • Research new modalities, events, books etc. related to trauma healing
  • Run our Facebook group page and help us expand the community
  • Keep with the pulse of our community.
  • Script editing for new videos
  • Write Social Media posts and run the Social Media calendar
  • Write introductions for our bi-weekly newsletters
  • Keep updating the website list of resources
  • Coordinate graphics for posts, newsletters and social media with our designer and webmaster
  • Work closely with the marketing team in editing ads copy
  • Monitor, analyze the performance of social media posts, newsletters and articles and make adjustments accordingly
  • Manage the conversations in our FB community and monitor the trends in the conversations
  • Create surveys to develop content and new events
  • Bachelor's Degree (ideally in psychology or literature) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of professional experience as a writer/researcher, ideally in a field related to psychology, trauma, spirituality, or science
  • Strong skills in organization, time management and attention to details
  • Excellent creative writer with a strong track record in running blogs, newsletters, etc.
  • Experience with social media posts: Facebook, Instagram and ideally Tik Tok
  • Exceptional storytelling and creative conceptualizing skills
  • Excellent editing skills
  • Passion for and personal connection to mental health
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Manages time effectively, to both multitask and meet deadlines.

Employment Type: Part Time 10-20 hours per week

Remuneration: $30-$35/hr depending on experience
