Overall Role: 

Resolve to Save Lives seeks an experienced Recruiter for a six-month consultancy to support a high volume of time-sensitive recruitments for various US and global public health positions. Under the direction of the Senior Advisor, Strategy and Talent, the Recruiter will:

  • Lead on a range of talent acquisition searches for full-time US and global roles with ownership throughout each stage of recruitment
  • Work with hiring managers to develop detailed position descriptions
  • Undertake proactive sourcing of candidates including leveraging job boards, ATS candidates, social media and key contacts across Resolve’s networks to ensure a strong and diverse talent pipeline
  • Review applicant CVs and applications for appropriateness of skills and experience in relation to position requirements
  • Screen candidates to assess their qualifications, fit, and understand compensation needs
  • Help convene and prepare diverse interview panels
  • Ensure timely follow up with candidates and hiring managers regarding the recruitment process
  • Support a positive candidate experience throughout the entire selection process
  • Manage and document internal meetings with hiring manager and interview panel to support selection decision
  • Conduct and document reference checks
  • Maintain recruitment tracking system with all candidate activity and uphold hiring standards as per organizational and supervisor requirements

Required Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 – 5 years of recruiting experience in a high-volume, global public health or other international not-for-profit organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrable success record in developing diverse candidate pipelines especially for hard to fill and high demand roles in an organization
  • Demonstrable success identifying passive candidates during recruitment
  • Knowledge of and facility using applicant tracking systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of calendaring tools
