Update and maintain Google folders for each BRE/ORE training - Copying and editing materials into new folders - Updating links in participant, facilitation, and pre/post training materials - Update and maintain ASANA tasks - Pull all BRE participants from Eventbrite into master participant list and follow up email contact sheets.
Pull all pre-assessment and evaluation data from Google forms to respective master lists - Monitor incoming access needs requests to support scheduling of ASL interpreters - Monitor Incoming Google form Scholarship Requests and administer codes as needed - Publish.

Position Summary
The BRE/ORE Training Administrative Associate is part of the Movement Capacity Building (MCB) department at Race Forward.
The Movement Capacity Building team envisions racial justice movements led by Black, indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC) communities with the self-determination, power, and resources to transform our material conditions. We honor local organizing, histories, culture and context in place. We embody multi-racial, cross-movement solidarity by:
- Developing tangible organizing and policy tools
- Working with community leaders and organizations to amplify strategies
- Building networks and connections for shared learning and alignment.
Reporting to the Vice President of Movement Capacity Building, the BRE/ORE Training Administrative Associate will bring overall administrative support to the Building Racial Equity and Organizing Racial Equity trainings.
The MCB department is seeking a motivated, self-starter who brings energy and enthusiasm to supporting the virtual trainings that we offer six to eight times per month, including managing registrations and communication with participants. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about supporting fast-moving work.
Duties and Responsibilities
Systems Maintenance
- Update and maintain Google folders for each BRE/ORE training
- Copying and editing materials into new folders
- Updating links in participant, facilitation, and pre/post training materials
- Update and maintain ASANA (project management tool) tasks (assign tasks, monitor incomplete tasks, do follow-ups)
- Pull all BRE participants from Eventbrite into master participant list and follow up email contact sheets.
- Pull all pre-assessment and evaluation data from Google forms to respective master lists
- Monitor incoming access needs requests to support scheduling of ASL interpreters
- Monitor Incoming Google form Scholarship Requests and administer codes as needed
Eventbrite Management
- Publish & Maintain BRE Eventbrite
- Maintain MCB Training Calendar with dates for training
- Create BRE events on Eventbrite
- Monitor ticket sales
- Process refunds via Eventbrite
Communications
- Respond to BRE related questions in BRE inbox
- Forward requests as needed to appropriate departments (Finance, GARE, Program Central etc.)
- Schedule and send pre and post-training communication to BRE participants via Eventbrite
General
- Attend BRE project team meetings
Training Day Administrative Support
- Check participants in via Eventbrite (1.5 hours beginning of training day)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
To perform successfully in this role, incumbent should possess skills identified below:
- Attention to detail and timeliness
- Strong written communication skills, including through email
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Ability to manage information in multiple platforms
Qualifications and Experience
- Two years of administrative/project management experience in a racial justice or social justice setting.
- Excellent computer skills in online platforms and software such as Google Suite and Microsoft office products and project management tools like Asana. Experience with Zoom and Salesforce preferred but not required.
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus, preferably Spanish.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including in multiracial environments.
- Ability to initiate and follow through on projects.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Additional Information
This position requires long periods of time at a desk on a computer and may require time outside of normal business hours. May include moving objects up to 20 pounds.
