Manager, Partner Sales 🔥

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager, Partner Sales who can help us continue to expand our business across Agencies & 3rd parties focused on the SMB market. The role will be responsible for managing a team of Senior Sales Reps who generate revenue by closing sales directly with marketing companies and agency partners. This is a hands-on, leadership position.

The ideal candidate has a proven record of developing and coaching a team, while navigating through an evolving organization. The Sales Manager, Partner Sales role is key to Yelp’s success and offers significant career growth opportunities within Yelp Sales.

Where You Come In:

  • Build, oversee and drive a team of regional sales representatives to maximize revenues and exceed sales targets
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales team quotas by holding your team accountable for activities that lead to revenue generation
  • Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, playbooks and strategies
  • Provide hands-on coaching, support and motivation to help individuals meet and exceed their defined sales targets
  • Train and coach sales representatives to structure partnership deals that position them to exceed revenue expectations
  • Mentor and help expedite onboarding mid and high-level sellers by way of weekly team and 1:1 meetings, regular sales training, and coaching toward professional development
  • Serve as an escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve team conflicts as necessary
  • Provide regular updates to management on team activities, opportunities, and risks
  • Implement strategic planning, forecasting and ongoing development of sales team
  • Identify improvement in all areas of productivity, process and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain executive level relationships to help drive sales activities
  • Assist in closing complex multi-million dollar programs with your team

What it Takes to Succeed:

  • 2+ years managing a team of 5 or more
  • 5+ years relevant National or Partnership experience across Sales, Digital, and Advertising roles
  • Proven track record of exceeding multi-million dollar Sales Targets
  • Experienced communicator with proven track record of Executive outreach
  • Entrepreneurial with history of building partnerships from scratch
  • Ability to handle critical conversations internally with reps as well as client escalations
  • Able to navigate uncertainty successfully for all parties and lead to desired outcomes
  • Belief in Yelp’s mission and naturally puts the company and team first
  • Able to Travel 30% of the time
  • Easy-going, cool headed, with a track record of collaboration and working well internally
  • Ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and build something big at Yelp
