The Digital Marketing Manager – Local SEO is responsible for the strategy and delivery of local search engine optimization across CST brands to drive lead generation. They will be responsible for managing and optimizing local listings, including Google My Business, Facebook, and other local directory listings.

The main focus of this role includes:

  • Responsible for managing the content and optimization of local directory listings, including Google My Business, Facebook, Yahoo! and others
  • Implement tactics to improve local rankings through content publishing and optimizations, reviews generation both on-page and through directories
  • Research and implement directory features including but not limited to messaging, posts, videos, etc.
  • Monitor performance of local SEO and provide recommendations to drive qualified traffic and leads
  • Manage and resolve technical issues for listings, including duplicate profiles
  • Deliver analytics reports to senior management on the results and activities of marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with other CST departments to launch and manage properties
  • Partner with paid search and website development teams to maximize performance of local listings
  • Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and is optimized for search and customer experience
  • Support programs across the marketing department, including the development of timelines, project management of projects, and cross-site syndication
  • Work with world-class external vendors and sources to improve local SEO initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong ability to manage digital marketing projects and deliver on defined timelines
  • All other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing department, Agency Account Services or related corporate environment.
  • Direct experience managing local directories (i.e. Google My Business, Facebook, etc), Google Search Console, and SEMRush
  • Demonstrate manage reporting and data gathering techniques
  • Strong written communications skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong leadership, communication and technical skills
  • The ability to begin making recommendations and independent thinking related to marketing plan execution
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously across various channels in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent Microsoft office skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills a must.
  • Adept at working with marketing teams and other departmental heads to achieve a common goal
