Summary

This senior sales position is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the company.

Essential Responsibilities

· Develop a concise, focused sales approach to provide clear solutions that address identified key program and white space opportunities with customers

· Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from competitors

· Analyze competitive products in order to ensure continual innovation with new ideas/products for our customers

· Formulate and execute strategies for product category with the ability to identify customer and product needs to facilitate sales growth, offer ideas /creativity for opportunities

· Create competitive retailer reviews, presentation projects that include creating/organizing customer specific details

· Maintain continue communication with customer or buyer to understand their needs for account assigned

· Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment

· Work closely and cooperative with all team members

· Work closely with Product Management team: includes sample requests, production timeline review and pricing requests

· Collaborate with various product teams: production, merchandising, design, operations, and financial teams to ensure top communication

· Provide unconditional assistance to Company other activities outside of executive’s core responsibilities, from time to time as required.

· To engage in other tasks and duties as instructed by the Company.

Job Experience/Requirements

· 5+ years of sales experience in wholesale sales within the home decor category preferably furniture and/or wall decor

  • Proven business acumen and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • A good understanding of the creative aspect of marketing, product development, creative process and able to communicate to the production team and influence the process
  • Be able to develop and execute strategy
  • Knowledge of major accounts, their customers and their industry challenges

· Requires a high degree of initiative, the ability to work effectively in varied settings

· Ability to be successful in achieving assigned sales objectives while working independently

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills are critical

Travel

· To travel to meetings, presentations, trade shows, overseas sourcing, and on product development trips from time to time as needed.

· Valid driver’s license

· May require occasional overnight travel.
