Sales Development Representative
Position Summary: Coordinate closely with Convergint's account executives to support, research, and prospect a consistent flow of qualified appointments that will influence the company's sales pipeline. Sales Development Representatives are held accountable by daily activity metrics of 75-100 outbound calls along with monthly qualified appointment goals.
1. Use internal/external marketing intelligence to identify and contact key decision makers to set qualified appointments for Convergint's account executives in North America.
2. Research and profile targeted accounts to ask interesting questions and overcome prospect objections.
3. Conduct high-level conversations with various decision makers in prospect accounts.
4. Successfully promote Convergint Technologies and our leadership position in the security marketplace.
5. Schedule and coordinate busy schedules among multiple parties.
6. Manage and maintain all prospecting activity in the company's CRM system.
7. Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on lead quality, messaging, selling programs, and sales dialogue.
8. Attend and complete on-going training programs including but not limited to: sales training, IT systems training, and industry training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
