Inside Sales Associate

As a Zearn Inside Sales Associate, you’ll play a critical role in guiding schools and districts who are interested in Zearn through the decision making process. In this role, you will focus on communicating with potential customers, answering questions or providing additional resources, and being the key Zearn contact for a school or district administrator.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead all purchase-related communication with a school or district administrator who is considering Zearn Math, acting as their main point of contact at Zearn
  • Guide potential customers through the purchase process by responding to questions, creating quotes and purchase agreements, and problem-solving purchasing hurdles
  • Follow up with customers as they advance through the sales process, customizing emails as necessary
  • Track sales-related information in Zearn’s CRM, Salesforce, to ensure customers move efficiently through the sales process and nothing falls through the cracks
  • Coordinate with other teams including Support, Finance, Legal and other members of the Partnerships team to ensure a smooth handoff
  • Manage the customer renewal process by emailing renewal customers, creating quotes and purchase agreements, tracking progress, and sending personalized follow-ups, with the goal of a high customer renewal rate

Who you are:

  • B.A. degree with minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Previous experience in Education, SaaS, or Sales a plus
  • Ability to manage a high volume of emails and tasks, with strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills to engage and follow-up with customers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Work experience in customer support, sales or sales operations at a top-tier business-to-business company, ideally in education or technology, is a plus
