Sales Operations Support Specialist


FAR consulting is now hiring for a Sales Operations Support Specialist with Start Up SaaS Experience to join an innovative team in one of the largest cable companies in the world. Edge Services is a new edge compute and data management service within the organization. The Edge Services team mission is to help businesses accelerate business and digital transformation by leveraging the benefits of edge computing. Edge Services is a collection of low latency cloud infrastructure resources using our extensive infrastructure of edge facilities. Our edge data centers are located at the last mile of the network providing superior network speed to support developer and customer workloads across the ecosystem.

You will work for the Executive Director and assist the team in coordinating projects, prioritizing workloads, clearing backlogs, managing schedules and other administrative responsibilities. This person will provide seamless execution of tasks while supporting back office, customer service, technical support, and customer sales interactions.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Manage general business operations and office related tasks
  • Prepare, prioritize and escalate work using a logical and methodical process
  • Identify, manage and clear a backlog of requests
  • Perform Sales administrative tasks (revenue tracking, etc.)
  • Maintain tools to support the Sales teams
  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendars and coordinate meetings
  • Perform project management functions such as meeting notes, tracking action items & key dates
  • Help develop presentations for any of the initiatives or requested by management
  • Assist the Executive Director in overseeing, reporting and managing innovation themes
  • Provide support and respond to all ad-hoc business requests requested by Executive Director and/or other management

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum

  • BS/BA degree in communications or business management
  • Sales operations support and/or administrative experience
  • Must have SaaS experience in a start-up environment
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software (Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Interest and/or solid understanding of emerging technology solutions
  • Exceptional business acumen and ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Cross-functional team player with adaptive work style (i.e., flexible)
  • Excellent organizational skills, preparation skills, problem solving skills, customer service skills, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and takes initiative; looking for a team player who comes with a problem-solving mindset
  • Clear understanding of timelines and expectations with the appropriate follow through
  • Ability to multitask and pivot quickly between workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screening. Job offers are contingent on drug screening results.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (Master’s degree, etc.)
  • B2B & Sales Campaign Experience
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
  • Experience with Edge Computing
