Digital Marketing Manager, Lead Acquisition

Zacks Investment is looking for an experienced Marketing and Lead Acquisition Manager to help create and execute a strategy that converts relevant visitors to a free subscription. You will help create, improve and maintain digital marketing activities to achieve aggressive business goals. This is an execution and strategic role in that you will be responsible for creating and measuring the outcomes of your strategy used to drive new subscribers.

Our ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial and experienced professional that can effectively work with a creative team, data-driven intelligence, and reporting analytics and is excited by the opportunity to expand something amazing. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to grow the messaging of Zacks.com to reach an older demographic and improve our current digital presence via native advertising, pay-per-click programs, email marketing, and social media platforms (IG, FB, LinkedIn, & Twitter).

Responsibilities:

  • Identify a digital marketing strategy and the best channels and tools to invest time/money in and create disciplined test plans to reach company goals.
  • Create compelling content and creative strategies that generate new leads by working with our creative staff, editorial team, and legal compliance.
  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns across pay-per-click, website, retargeting & social channels.
  • Focus intensely on quantitative analysis and analytics: dashboards, reporting, and insights.
  • Have broad experience with A/B testing, experimentation, analyses, and interpreting marketing results.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts with media buyers to arrange advertising placements.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, benchmarks, vendors/platforms, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with professional marketing experience.
  • Proven track record, desire, and willingness to learn.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing pay-per-click accounts spending $100+k/mo.
  • Strong aptitude to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies and outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing. Keen understanding of how to build a strategy, quantifies, and leverage online channels.
  • Proficiency with online marketing collateral, conversion optimization, and data analytics platforms. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, VWO, and Adobe Analytics a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with IT staff and stakeholders across an organization.
  • Working knowledge of HTML to edit copy and URLs.

Compensation is a base salary plus a monthly bonus based on the overall profitability of the department.
