We are currently looking for a Business Development Ambassador to join our Team. This Business Development Ambassador must be self-motivated and a self-starter. This representative will be solely responsible for the outreach to a preselected group of customers with the main goal of developing relationships to increase revenue and drive customer behavior to alphabroder Primeline.

Reporting to the Regional Inside Manager, the primary role of the Business Development Ambassador is to make relevant, quality outbound calls to a defined group of customers providing information regarding our products and services. This position will focus heavily on mining for potential new opportunities to drive revenue. The Business Development Ambassador will also provide resolutions for our customers to achieve a positive customer experience and ensure continued loyalty and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for growing non-target revenue within a specific group of customers through quality, relevant outbound calls
  • Effectively educate New Customers on company value proposition including products, services, marketing tools and resources to increase sales activity
  • Maintain a strong contact cycle with customers creating and/or executing callout campaigns as touch points to increase sales opportunities
  • Follow up on all Large Orders over $1,000.00 for New and Existing customers
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and effective use of available marketing tools and resources
  • Effectively use probing skills to develop and continuously update customer profile in CRM
  • Prepare and communicate quotes
  • Identify and report trends in the Promotional Product Industry
  • Follow up with customers on samples, quotes and marketing collateral
  • Provide information to customers by phone, email and web regarding styles, inventory,

pricing, backorders, discontinued items, shipping dates, specials, policies and procedures

  • Other related duties as assigned by the Regional Inside Manager

Minimum Expectations/Requirements of Position:

  • Phone Contacts: Conduct a minimum of 40 outbound calls a day. Target of 15-20 contacts made each day.
  • Unique Accounts Touched: representative must focus outbound calls throughout entire book of business to ensure revenue growth within the majority of assigned customers
  • Opportunity Tracking: representative must submit all large volume pipeline opportunities weekly following the designated format
  • Representative must be able to adapt, perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow Up Expectations: Maximum 60 minutes

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • Preferred experience in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling or phone-based business-to-business prospecting
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to successfully focus on multiple tasks, set priorities and achieve metrics
  • Sales experience in B2B/B2C sales is preferred, and promotional product industry experience would be favorable
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Google Chrome, MS Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
