Social Media Manager Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $55/hr

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and keep updated guidelines for employee social media activities.
- Provide counsel to employees on social media posts related to company business to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Partner with global training team to ensure efficacy and currency of social media training.
- Manage employee social media advocacy program through Hootsuite, and encourage employees to advocate for the brand.
- Aggregate the best social media content from across the group companies for employees to share each week.
- Maintain content repository in Hootsuite and become subject matter expert for employee advocacy tool, conducting employee training sessions as needed.
- Manage social media channels calendar. Aggregate best content for social sharing each week
- Craft content for desired voice and tone, create bit.ly links for each post, schedule calendar.
- Manage image library to support social media posts. Create and edit short social videos with video software.
- Identify key social influencers within the company and provide social posts/collaboration opportunities to drive additional engagement
- Analyze social post outcomes to optimize channels and create best practices. Gather social metrics, analyze and report out for social impact.
Social Media Manager Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience managing social media or other communications programs in-house or at an agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience in large, global B2B technology, software, services companies is a plus.
- Experience with basic graphic design/photoshop and basic editing skills.
- A content master – strong writer and storyteller who can draft compelling messages for use in social media channels.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality work, calmly and with good judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is key.
Job Type:
- 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
