REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for growing revenue and profit in four revenue centers, Equipment Sales,
Rentals, Service, Parts, primarily by acquiring new customers.
Duties include working with Salesforce.com to prospect for users of industrial materials handling equipment for sales of equipment, equipment rentals, service and parts. Growing relationships within established accounts to improve revenue in the four revenue centers.
Skills:
- Proficient sales skills/techniques to generate opportunities, recommend solutions, present quotes and close sales
- Proficient using laptop computer and tablet for sales presentations
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office to create proposals and correspondence
- Proficient using CRM Software (Salesforce.com) to: o Identify all contacts/key decision makers within accounts that influence forklift rental, service, parts and sales purchasing decisions o Establish tasks/calendar to make contacts with prospects and follow-up on initiatives and opportunities o Establish call objectives before every sales call o Properly record and briefly describe the outcome of every sales call

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, incorporating professionally designed marketing materials and website
- Develop rapport for successful selling relationships with key decision makers
- Teamwork to cooperate with all departments and personnel within the company, and to work with lead generation and marketing group
- Help to develop any additional marketing materials need to assist in achieving sales goals
- Learning, curiosity and initiative to become knowledgeable of our equipment/product offering and have thorough understanding of competitor’s offerings.
Relationships: Report directly to the Executive Vice President/Sales Manager. Work with other managers in the company that are responsible for the four revenue centers. Work together to establish revenue goals and hold one another accountable for meeting the goals.
Compensation: Salary to begin, moving quickly to commission based. Retirement plan, health insurance. Reimbursement for business expenses. Company provides cell phone, laptop and tablet.
