Job Title: Retirement Plan Sales Consultant

Location: REMOTE (San Francisco Bay Area)

Omega Investment Management specializes in providing retirement plan products and services for small to mid-sized corporations and non-profit organizations. Omega Investment Management also works with individuals for their specific retirement needs and long-term goals.

Division: Sales / Marketing

Although our home office is based in Walnut Creek, California, this position is a remote role (you need to be based in the Bay Area). You will report to the Director of Client Services & Sales and join a dedicated team of professionals who are all full of energy and enthusiasm and are highly driven to succeed.

Responsibilities:

The Retirement Plan Sales Consultant will represent Omega Investment Management in a sales and marketing capacity to clients and prospects in an assigned territory with an emphasis on soliciting new group takeover plans and cross-selling other products.

Your primary responsibility will be to seek out opportunities and close the sale:

  • You are expected to use your current network to find and close Retirement Plan Accounts.
  • Setting qualified appointments with plan sponsors of 401k and 403b Plans through multiple strategies, cold calling, networking, and referral.
  • Work within a geographic territory to cultivate new prospects, cross-sell solutions, reach and exceed goals and close sales.

Required Qualifications:

  • Passionate about Sales and excited for the hunt
  • Demonstrated cold calling sales ability, with assertive, positive, and persistent style
  • Two or more years of outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience with proven proficiency in hunting, prospecting, selling, presentation skills with a high success of closing
  • Source, engage, qualify, and educate prospective partners on the company’s value proposition.
  • Conducting outbound cold calls which result in prospective clients
  • Strategic thinker who can work independently and as part of a team
  • Achieve revenue growth including monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals and quotas
  • Must be comfortable using a computer to email customers, prepare reports, and use the internet for research and prospecting
  • Highly enthusiastic with a personable demeanor and a desire and commitment to achieve both personal and - professional goals
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals, partnership, and pipeline development initiatives; including net new partnerships won, close rates and revenue.
  • Manage deal flow from initial prospect contact to contract signing and be able to provide weekly updates to management.
  • Ability to adapt and flex within a fluid business environment, growing rapidly and dynamic in nature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as computer & presentation skills
  • Ability to work Full-Time with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Organized and process-driven
  • Highly Self Motivated with the discipline to work remotely
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Must have a vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Active FINRA Series 6 and 63 or desire to obtain within 120 days of employment
  • Knowledge of 401k / 403b / 457b retirement plans
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance License or desire to obtain within 120 days of employment

Pay: $24,000.00 - $136,460.00 per year
