Digital Marketing Specialist


Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist (Email Marketing, Social Media, and Automation)

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for overall campaign marketing support with a focus on email marketing, organic social media presence and marketing automation.

Knowledge of marketing automation tools in Marketo is a hard requirement without exception. Having a proven approach to planning; creative development and production; testing, execution, and reporting and analytics. Critical workflow management and organization are required to meet stringent deadlines and stakeholders’ expectations. This technical position places heavy emphasis on production in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with multiple competing priorities. Candidates must be extremely detailed oriented, technically proficient, and ready to handle a large workload while maintaining high quality standards.

Specific duties include:

Email Marketing/Marketing Automation

· Coordinate email marketing automation programs for multiple products

· Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns out of enterprise marketing automation tool Marketo

· Develop content strategies based on audience and cadence; work with external creative team to develop assets

· Manage and execute lead lifecycle strategy that drives leads, engagement, and retention

· Manage and maintain email schedules for related stakeholders

· Acts as quality assurance with an editorial eye and concentrated attention to detail

· Own readability and accurate rendering across all major email clients and devices

· Identify issues with accessibility and improving the user experience of our emails

· Create testing scenarios (A/B or Multivariate) for creative and copy testing to optimize and grow the clients email marketing practice

· Collaborate with the marketing team to build client journeys that drive engagement and sales conversions

· Manage the set-up of one-time and automated email campaigns, content and message optimization, list segmentation, deployment, and reporting

· Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, responsive design, email testing, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required

· Stay current on and recommends email marketing best practices with coding, design, and testing of email campaigns

· Leads email performance analysis and reporting

Social Media

· Establish, publish, and grow social media presence for our client

· Maintain a monthly content calendar and meet calendar deadlines

· Partner with content experts in the business groups, regions, and functions to identify opportunities for social media engagement, acquire and curate content, and manage the syndication of content to externally available social media channels. Identify ways to maximize and leverage social/content marketing in advertising, media relations, digital, direct, experiential, and other forms of marketing

· Establish a style guide based on brand image and stakeholder requirements

· Rely on data to drive creative decisions

· Develop innovative ways to gain authentic and engaged followers organically, including but not limited to, utilizing the brand’s robust client and email list.

· Utilize social media accounts to promote new sales and data releases

Sales Operations

· Support the Sales Team with the distribution and assignment of leads

· From time to time, assist with the roll out of process improvement efforts related to the CRM

Other duties as assigned

· Website updates and development—editing pages in Wordpress and supporting development of other new web properties

· Creation of landing pages and forms within Marketing Automation tool to support email and social marketing

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Comprehensive knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience in CRM & Marketing Automation tools: Salesforce & Marketo

· Comprehensive knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience in Social Media Management Platforms

· Experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter with a b2b audience focus

· Expert attention to detail and an excellent command of type and editing

· Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and support services communication skills

· Passion for email development, web development or digital marketing

· Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and accessibility knowledge

· Proficiency with marketing automation, social media and email marketing best practices

· Experience using email delivery tools

· Experience with Google Analytics and UTM source tagging

· Ability to troubleshoot coding problems and to develop solutions

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

· Ability to work independently with demonstrated resourcefulness, drive for results and initiative

· Database (SQL, etc.) a plus

· Experience with Salesforce API development a plus

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

· Knowledge of programming languages a plus (JS, C#, PHP, ASP, etc.) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $98,140.00 per year
