Digital Marketing Director


We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Director to join our team. This position will work closely with executive leadership to create and lead omnichannel execution of digital strategies based on ideal customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, insights, and behavior analysis. Additionally, they will help build long-term customer relationships with the ultimate goal of delivering a consistent message across all digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a passionate digital strategist with an enviable track record of growing revenues for aspirational brands. Personal care and/or Consumer Product experience a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage acquisition and remarketing strategy with the agency of record across key channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Google (Search, Display, Shopping), and TikTok
  • Oversee CRM and retention platforms including Loyalty, Referral, Email, SMS, and Lifecycle Marketing
  • Build new acquisition and retention programs including vendor evaluation/selection, program forecasting, analysis, working with IT development on implementation, and optimization/testing
  • Work with SEO agency of record to build strategy and oversee execution
  • Develop and maintain annual and seasonal site content calendars, including coordination of creative asset deliverables for both owned and retail partner sites.
  • Plan, implement and manage email content and cadence, including new launches and education outreach as well as automated retention campaigns
  • Use web analytics, customer insights, industry trends, and customer service

feedback to inform future iterations of on-site experience, including regular QA site sweeps to ensure product, inventory and technical needs are addressed in a timely manner

  • Identify and analyze metrics to evaluate campaign and project performance in an effort to continually optimize digital communication program effectiveness
  • Forecast, manage, and allocate complex budgets based on performance targets and overarching business goals
  • Oversee all acquisition and retention KPIs to build into needs that align with marketing programs (i.e. cohort analysis, repeat purchase, lifetime value, attribution modeling, ROAS, CPA, conversion, etc.)
  • Partner with leadership across teams (i.e. Sales, Creative, Communication, etc) to align on channel needs to drive growth and testing opportunities
  • Strategize audience opportunities utilizing channel and customer learnings
  • Report and share insights on channel performance to leadership stakeholders

Experience

  • 7+ years E-commerce and Digital Marketing experience, 3+ years in leadership role at a DTC brand.
  • Personal care and/or Consumer Product experience a must.
  • 4-6+ years experience on Facebook and Google
  • 4-6+ years experience in owned channels including Email, SMS, Referral, Loyalty, etc. – platforms including Klaviyo, Attentive, Yotpo, etc.
  • 2+ years experience in other channels including but not limited to Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Outbrain, Direct Mail, etc.
  • Fluent understanding of Digital Marketing KPIs – CPA, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate, ROAS, etc.
  • 3+ years experience with Shopify and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Looker, etc.
  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on.
  • Collaborative, creative and analytical thinker who loves to test and learn

Salary commensurate with experience.
