The Business Development Executive will be a client facing, entrepreneurial sales position. The right candidate will work as part of the sales and marketing team to identify, lead, negotiate and close revenue cycle sales. We are looking for highly motivated professionals who have pulse on industry trends and have a passion for selling services to healthcare providers.

Required:

  • Existing rolodex of contacts in hospitals and larger physician practices.
  • Documented track record of success (President’s Club, etc) in sales in the healthcare industry.
  • Consistent ranking in top quartile among sales peers.
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Possess the ability to manage all aspects of the sales cycle across revenue cycle solutions.
  • Talent for engaging executive level client decision makers throughout the selling process.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • BA/BS in Business, Healthcare or related concentration
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry, revenue cycle management knowledge a strong plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CRM Software, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong pipeline and close business with qualified prospects.
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Keep all opportunity and forecast information current and provide management with reports on progress in a timely fashion.
  • Identify client needs and present solutions by demonstrating ROI
  • Keep senior management informed of competitive strategies and new products/services that enter the market.
  • Represent the company at various events and trade shows as required.
  • Maintain close communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiate for mutually beneficial service solutions.
  • Continuous product knowledge development and competitive intelligence.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the position.

Locations: One position located in Midwest; One position located outside Midwest- preferably East coast
