Social Media Strategist
Overall responsibility: The Social Media Strategist is responsible for the conception, planning, creation, follow-through and analysis of social media; including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Blogs, and other social media channels to increase awareness, engagement, and participant registrations in program of the Option Institute™® and Autism Treatment Center of America™®.
Key areas of responsibilities:
· Oversight of the Autism Treatment Center of America and Option Institute Facebook pages:
o Updating social media strategies regularly to follow Facebook best practices and changing social media trends
o Creating engaging posts
o Training the organization’s staff in Facebook best practices and provide them with regular, timely feedback
o Maintaining Facebook posting schedule
o Reviewing pages daily
o Responding to private Facebook messages and comments on posts, and referring leads to the Program Enrollment Department
o Facebook ad creation
o Creating Facebook events
o Maintaining the organization’s Facebook Groups, including accepting new members and monitoring posts for relevance
· Copy writing, copy editing, content creation, blogging
· Projects supporting global extension of client base
· Reporting and analysis of Facebook posts, ads, and page performance
· Maintaining and following the Option Institute brand and style guide
· Creating and editing video content using Adobe Premiere
· Creating and editing animated graphics using Adobe After Effects and various online programs
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field, and at least two years related work experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Excellent written/verbal and interpersonal communication skills
· Copy writing/content creation experience for blogging, social media, and web promotions
· High level of proficiency in MS office-Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Knowledge of Facebook Insights and Google Analytics
· Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
· Excellent working knowledge of social media to support business
· Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task successfully under pressure
· Exceptional time-management and ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a larger team

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
