Marketing Content Writer

We are currently hiring for a digital writer who possesses strong writing and research skills to join our growing marketing team and collaborate with our Insights team.This role focuses on developing engaging written and visual content for our website and will become a key part of growing our digital brand.



Digital Writer Responsibilities:

  • Produce well-researched content for online publication
  • Proofread and edit all blog posts before publication
  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Develop content for multiple platforms, such as landing pages, email marketing, best practices, guides, videos, and blog posts
  • Create multiple content pieces from one long-form research (I.e. key findings documentation, infographic, assist with press releases, blog post, etc)
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability
  • Assist in maintaining our growing content library, regularly review and update content
  • Maintain knowledge of Seramount's strategy, target markets, objectives, initiatives, thought leadership to appropriately tie content to Seramount's external messaging and strategic direction.



Must-Have Experience:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience writing for online publications as a member of an internal team or staff member, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience working with WordPress.
  • Experience writing for a B2B brand or business publications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in ways that are relatable and understandable for readers.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses an understanding of search engine optimization best practices.
