About She Should Run

She Should Run is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) organization that increases the number of women considering a run for public office by helping them realize their potential. We are driven by a vision to see historically underrepresented women play a leadership role in our democracy. We create approachable programs that meet women where they are, often in other forms of leadership, and we help make connections between their leadership skills and goals, and running for office.

About the Role

The Director of Programs builds on and directs She Should Run’s tools, resources and community that cultivate curiosity about elected leadership at all levels. We are not a traditional candidate training organization. Our programs, which primarily live in the virtual space, are laser focused on getting women from all walks of life to the starting line (not the finish line!), often meeting women in a place where they have never seriously considered elected roles. Our tools and resources spark a-ha moments about the change that is possible in elected office, connect women with one another through our platform and demystify the landscape of resources that exist for women further along in their journeys. She Should Run is in a growth phase and is looking for a director who is an extraordinary project manager, builder and partnership cultivator.
