Content Writer Remote Position

We are currently looking for a Content Writer to join our remote team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth online research in the categories of business, computers, safety, compliance and finance
  • Use knowledge gained through research to create compelling, SEO-rich, original content that appeals to HR professionals and managers, including:
  • Blog articles
  • Meta descriptions
  • Course descriptions
  • White papers
  • eBooks
  • Website copy
  • Other creative marketing content
  • Edit for spelling, grammar, syntax, tone and originality
  • Self-document tasks and report your progress using Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets

Required Experience and Skills:

  • A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills (AP Style)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to write for a wide variety of industries
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Creative, innovative and responsive personality
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices
  • At least 1 to 2 years of professional writing experience

Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Experience writing as a journalist
  • Experience editing copy for news outlets, media publications, websites or private clients
  • Experience in the eLearning industry
  • Adaptable at all times
  • Experience with Google Suite, Slack and Zoom
  • Interest and experience in writing and editing marketing copy
