Who We Are
Cultural Vistas' small HR team is focused on providing people-centric support to the organization and its most valuable resource: the staff who make the mission possible. Reporting to the Director of Administration, People & Culture, the HR Generalist will serve as a resource to staff and management by proactively providing a broad range of HR services, ensuring efficient and seamless administration and coordination of HR-related projects, programs, and activities.
Who You Are
To be successful in this job, you will have clear, empathetic, and inclusive communication skills, with a strength in internal and external customer service. You will have an eye for detail and a deep knowledge of the daily tasks and the strategic role of the Human Resource function. You exhibit good judgment and balance in handling sensitive or confidential content.
Occasional travel to the home office in Washington, DC may be required, so candidates located in the DMV region or those willing to relocate are preferred.
What You'll Do
Your job will be to provide support to the staff and HR function of Cultural Vistas in Administration & Compliance, Talent Acquisition & Management, and Performance & UltiPro HRIS Management so that HR activities are aligned with the business needs and organizational strategies, enabling our people and mission to be more successful.
At any given time, you will be responsible for ongoing communication with candidates, staff, brokers, payroll consultants, and vendors as well as keeping internal records up to date.
