Note: This is a contract role.
Opportunity@Work is seeking an hourly contract recruiter to support the organization’s rapid growth in 2021 and beyond. This person will be responsible for managing between 8-10 open requisitions at a time for both technical and non-technical roles across the organization.
This person plays an integral role in helping Opportunity@Work attract the right talent to support their fast-paced, growing organization. They will report directly to the Senior Director of People.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process; from kick-off meetings with hiring managers, to sourcing/screening, through the offer stage for 8-10 requisitions at a time spanning multiple levels and departments (e.g Sales, Marketing & Communications, Engineering, Product).
- Execute creative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a diverse candidate pool including STARs ( workers without a four-year degree)
- Provide candidates with an accurate and compelling story as to why Opportunity@Work is an exciting and fulfilling place to work.
- Leverage data and insights, prior knowledge, and industry trends to build creative sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates.
- Manage Applicant Tracking System and internal reporting; report on key recruitment metrics designed to measure staffing activity.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive candidate experience, including turn-down emails, status updates, “touch bases”, and interview scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- A minimum of 5+ years experience managing a full-cycle recruitment process
- 2+ years of creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies focused on inclusive hiring
- Experience working in a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS) such as Google Hire, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar ATS
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices
- Experience working with passive candidates in a highly competitive space
- Agile problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where business needs change
- Solid communication skills
