As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll be helping to build and improve our student experience to support millions of kids on Zearn. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Zearn delivers exciting, educational, and functional features for kids with every release.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure all newly developed features meet requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, accessibility, stability and compatibility across devices and browsers
- Understand product requirements, including wireframes and designs, to ensure effective QA of deliverables
- Plan, create, and execute end-to-end test cases for new builds
- Find and report product usability issues, defects, and incompatibilities with detailed, accurate, and concise steps to reproduce
- Work directly with the engineering team to identify and resolve bugs
- Become an expert on Zearn’s student experience and user functionality
- Regularly review Zearn’s digital lessons to find and resolve any errors
- Update Zearn’s QA test content to reflect a comprehensive set of features and content use cases
- Assist the QA team in ensuring quick resolution of user issues raised through Zearn Support
Ideal candidates will have:
- BA/BS
- 2+ years of work experience in QA, technology, or a related field. Experience in education is a plus
- An eye for detail, and UX sensibility to catch non-technical UX issues
- Excellent organizational skills, follow-up, and written and oral communication
- A readiness to understand and learn an existing and complex system
- A desire to collaborate on a diverse team and learn new tools and techniques
