National organizer
The RootsAction Education Fund is developing a national program for public education and activism on issues related to militarism, nuclear weapons and the new Cold War. To help this program grow, RAEF plans to hire an individual with a background on issues related to U.S. foreign policy and experience with organizing coalitions for social change – an individual who is passionate about peace and disarmament, and willing to challenge war-oriented officials whether Democrat or Republican. Other qualifications include well-developed writing skills; scrupulous attention to factual accuracy; ability to work independently and as part of a collective approach while being responsive to supervision; facility with research, data collection, and social media.
Work from home! This is a remote position.
We strongly encourage applications from people of color, women, LGBTQ people and others from marginalized groups. Individual could be located anywhere.
