Grants Writer/Project Manager
We are seeking to hire a writer/project manager to assist with writing grants for Federally Qualified Health Centers. FQHCs apply for a plethora of federal, state, and foundation award opportunities related to all areas of health care. Knowledge of low-income health care needs and basic quantitative needs assessment a must. Excellent writing, editing, and computer skills are required. Attention to detail is essential. Your work product must convey information clearly, informatively, and persuasively to fit each client and project needs. Must be organized and able to work under tight time constraints with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines. As part of a grant writing team, responsibilities can include interfacing with clients, project management, and some administrative functions. Position responsibilities are determined based on the employee’s strengths.

Knowledge of low-income and Federally Qualified Health Centers or operations of primary care clinics helpful. MPH or another appropriate degree in the field preferred. You must be open to positive, constructive feedback and submit your work already edited for grammar and formatting.
This position works from home, with teleconference communications to discuss work products and submission dates, team progress, and client meetings. Willingness to participate in daily team huddles during deadlines. We work in the Eastern and Central Time Zones and living in these time zones is a requirement of employment.
We provide the computer and additional monitor. The employee must provide their verifiable high-speed internet connection. Due to the confidential aspects of this work, we cannot permit any type of public or shared password wifi use other than within the employee’s home.
Compensation will range between $45K -$55K, depending on prior experience and healthcare knowledge. We include an attractive healthcare plan, 401K pension plan, company-paid life insurance, and company-paid short-term disability.
