You take a photo, upload an image to ThingLink, add interactive elements, and share. In addition to the easy creation experience, our most valuable competitive advantage is the data we collect when learners interact with images or videos. We work with corporate, academic, and public sector customers who need to quickly modernize their online learning infrastructure for better results or cost savings. Students can use ThingLink to document projects and assignments at home. ThingLink’s innovative approach was awarded by UNESCO in 2019 presenting ThingLink with an ICT in Education award.

How do we do this?

Creating and sharing interactive images and videos can be accomplished in minutes and requires no advanced computer skills. If you can make a Powerpoint, you can make a thinglink. Thinglinks can be updated constantly and you don't have to re-embed one each time an update is made. This greatly speeds up the creation process and eliminates the need for learning or editorial content developers to involve developers to make updates, saving significant amounts of time and resources.

The Role

Business and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) join ThingLinks Sales and Marketing team in the US. The main responsibility of the BDR/SDR is to focus on qualifying inbound marketing leads from the hundreds of potential new users as well as prospecting outbound leads to companies that operate in target segments. In this role, you’ll drive your own success by generating sales demand and pipeline revenue through inbound and outbound lead development. We are looking for self starters who can thrive in a fast paced and detail oriented environment.
What You’ll do

  • Work within a defined territory (academic organizations or corporate customers) to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities
  • Manage the early sales cycle for opportunities within your territory
  • Build trusted relationships with prospective customers; delivering exceptional service and experiences
  • Understand prospects’ needs and recommend the right Thinglink products and solutions
  • Coordinate closely with other sales, product and operations team members
  • Manage and track activities and opportunities correctly in our CRM (Hubspot)
  • Rapidly develop your sales skills on the job and through training and events
  • Develop product and domain knowledge to better align solutions with clients needs

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience that includes customer support, customer success, sales or Marketing
  • 1+ years of professional experience from a specific industry (e.g. healthcare, manufacturing, retail, logistics, education)
  • BA/BS or masters degree in business administration, marketing, or technical major desired
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ambitious and comfortable taking initiative
  • Ability to manage time and priorities
  • Team player; able to take accountability and direction
  • Willingness to travel as needed (under 15%)
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States without limitations or restrictions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Hubspot or other CRM systems
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in eLearning, marcom or SaaS
  • Evidence of competitive endeavors

Pay: $38,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
