Digital Marketing and Branding Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

FBAlliance Insurance Company, a P&C insurance company in the US, is preparing to enter the world of personal lines automobile insurance and market its product online for direct sale to consumers. We are seeking a Digital Marketing and Branding Manager to lead its digital marketing and branding programs. As the first person of the marketing team, you will have an opportunity to contribute strategically and build a team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of previous experience in digital marketing - strategizing, planning, and then delivering results. In this role you will wear many hats and impact many areas, so when we talk about your candidacy, please expect to share how you’ve been able to succeed across multiple areas of the digital marketing spectrum. In this position you will serve as a thought leader and as an executioner. At FBA, when you own a project, you own it from start to finish, and you will have the ultimate responsibility to deliver results.

Who We Are?

FBAlliance is a new P&C insurance company, strongly financed by eleven Farm Bureau insurance companies. Our vision is to be a multi-state, multi-line, financially strong insurance company that provides innovative products and services based on sophisticated underwriting and pricing.

We are doing this by building a responsive, customer-focused, digital organization. Our personal lines property products are in five states and expanding. We are developing a digital platform that will spur the creation of new and emerging products for rapid entry into new markets. We leverage several third-party relationships and InsureTech companies to surround our small team with a very big source of insurance and technology expertise. We use sophisticated predictive and catastrophe models to develop product pricing and utilize insightful data to underwrite risks. What You Will Do?

  • Vision and strategy – build on existing vision, develop and extend strategies
  • Brand building – lead the process of building company and product brands
  • Marketing campaign strategy creation and execution – devise and implement great campaigns
  • Data-Driven reporting and decision making – leverage data and analytics to support all decisions
  • Quality lead and demand generation – bring in new and profitable customers
  • Paid and organic search – work with and assist in managing vendor partners and internal resources
  • Continuous improvements – create, monitor, tune, and deploy successful programs
  • Social media – be adept at effectively utilizing social media channels
  • Targeting - oversee localization of campaigns and programs for different products/markets
  • Efficiency – use your creativity to build a highly cost-efficient program
  • Collaborate – work closely with senior management, functional leaders, and vendors/agencies

Skills and Qualifications You Must Possess

  • Must be able to demonstrate quantifiable success in previous digital marketing efforts
  • 5+ years previous experience in a digital marketing role with strong preference for candidates with insurance or

Financial Services experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, with preference for Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields
  • Exceptional project management and resource/vendor coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent strategies across different markets and products
  • High-level communication (written and verbal) skills in English
  • Proficient with related tools, software and analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and initiatives, while meeting deadlines

Location

FBAlliance is headquartered in Illinois and has an office in Bloomington, Illinois. Telecommuting is an option for this role.
