Industrial Refrigeration Sales Manager- Central Us Region/chicago π₯
Summary/Objective This sales position is responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives within the Industrial Refrigeration industry. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.
Essential Functions
- Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
- Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing.
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is directly responsible for leading employees of the Sales department.
Travel
This position requires frequent travel. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight. Some of the travel is international.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or engineering.
- MBA preferred
