Trexin is searching for a Consultant to work as a Digital Portfolio Delivery Lead for our Healthcare client located in Chicago, IL. This role will focus on a Digital Enablement for Sales, Marketing, Front End Consumer/Member Facing Digital Experiences.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Successful delivery of IT capabilities to the business
  • The right IT product teams are engaged in the delivery of capabilities within a project
  • Delivery transparency for business stakeholders via key performance indicators
  • Tracking and managing portfolio status against project milestones and critical path highlighting risks and mitigation plans
  • Facilitation and resolution of risks and dependencies for the project teams
  • Coordination with downstream teams (e.g. IT Product teams) to ensure overall project delivery
  • Coordination and communication between business/EPMO and IT groups throughout delivery
  • Resolution of critical post-production issues in collaboration with support team
  • Feedback loop from end customers (on service quality and improvement opportunities) to Project and IT Product teams
  • Strong relationships with strategic partner teams including Portfolio Business Owner, Business Project Lead, EPMO PMs, IT Portfolio Leads, and other Portfolio Delivery Leads
  • Communication channels to keep end customers informed of project progress

Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience delivering consumer/member facing portals, mobile apps, APIs, and Microservices oriented initiatives using XP and Agile methodologies
  • 10+ years of consulting experience with at least 5 years in a Delivery Leadership /Director or program management role
  • Ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Able to balance a program workload and staffing according to project/program and organizational priorities and goals
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of a Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) and non-technology project lifecycle including the identification of the business problem, business case and project plan development through project management and closeout
  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments
  • Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project/program management to deliver enterprise-level projects
  • Strong leadership skills, including a history of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth in project management
  • Relationship builder able to team effectively with others and build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
  • Achievement-oriented with strong leadership skills and a desire for continued growth and learning in career
  • A history of mentoring and/or teaching others around work plan development, progress tracking, time tracking, status reporting, and risk management
  • Experience in Healthcare with payor, claims and membership platform experience preferred.
  • Big 4 or previous consulting experience is a plus
