Business Development & Operations

Elektra Labs is looking to grow out our Business Development and Operations team. We are looking for someone to work cross-functionally across BD/Sales, Customer Success, Maker Partnerships, Marketing, and Product Strategy. This person will wear many mission-critical hats and serve as the control center for market feedback across various channels. We are looking for people who have a keen eye for making business and operational processes more efficient as the company scales.

With more than 1,000 connected health products on the market and little regulation in place, Elektra is building the platform to evaluate and dispense connected technologies remotely.

Since Elektra’s inception in 2017, the company’s mission, values, and progress have garnered attention in several top publications, and funding from several prominent health, bioscience and tech investors as well as the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Harvard Business School Rock Center for Entrepreneurship.

What you will do:

    • Sales and Commercial Support: Qualify leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel to help build a robust, high-quality sales pipeline (35% of focus)
    • Sales/Revenue Operations: Create reports within SalesForce to track progress across key market segments and diagnose any bottlenecks within the sales cycle (20% of focus)
    • Customer Success and Product Strategy: Work closely with the Customer Success team to solve customer inquiries and urgent requests. Use product requests to inform product strategy and roadmap suggestions (20% of focus)
    • Maker Relationship Support: Manage both new and onboarding Maker (connected sensor manufacturer) relationships to set Elektra up for success with its Operations offering (15% of focus)
    • Marketing: Manage company accounts (Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Twitter) to stay engaged with our audiences and drive the Elektra Labs brand. (10% of focus)

What you have:

    • 3+ years of professional work experience
    • Background experience in business strategy consulting, healthcare and life sciences industries, and/or an early stage start-up a huge plus!
    • BA/BS degree (MBA a plus!)
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You are a great writer, speaker, and listener.
    • Highly organized; ability to manage numerous requests and time demands simultaneously
    • Low ego and high EQ: no job is too small

What's in it for you:

    • Become a leader in the emerging digital medicine field
    • Initiate and scale the core product of a rapidly growing startup, backed by top investors in the industry
    • Save lives by reducing participant burden in clinical trials, improving the quality of evidence, and speeding the development and reducing the costs of new treatments for patients

Elektra Labs is advancing healthcare by enabling the safe, effective, and personalized use of connected products in real-life settings.

Technology has always moved faster than our ability to safeguard ourselves from its consequences. Connected health products are no exception. The increase in FDA clearances [1] for these products has accelerated their adoption in clinical trials and routine care, but not without major concerns regarding data security [2], accuracy [3] and biases [4].

Similar to pharmacies, which safely and effectively evaluate and dispense drug components, Elektra Labs offers free and paid services to better evaluate and dispense the >750 connected products on the market today for clinical trials and remote health monitoring.

Since Elektra’s inception in 2017, the company’s mission, values [5] and progress have garnered attention [6] in several top publications, and funding from several prominent health, bioscience and tech investors as well as the National Science Foundation and the Harvard Business School Rock Center for Entrepreneurship. Join our team (less than 10 people!) to be on the ground floor as we secure our nation’s healthcare system and make it easier to safely deploy the right technologies for the patients who need them the most.

Elektra Labs is an equal opportunity employer. Diversity and inclusion is at the core of what we do. We actively welcome applicants from a wealth of different backgrounds (including but not limited to race, gender, educational background, and sexual orientation).

We're proud supporters of WeHeartHackers.org [7].
